Client requirements are the first thing we should take into consideration. Then we can offer our professional advice to them. Load capacity: The most optimum choice is load capacity take the 70-80% of the rated capacity which can expand UPS lifetime and facilitate the expansion of load in the future. Type of loads/applications: Data center, server rooms, industrial, outdoor devices etc. Based on his we can decide to choose high frequency or low frequency UPS, with or without isolated transformer, parallel or not, etc. Site Location / Installation environment: Local grid environment, room size, floor load-bearing capacity etc.
The UPS (uninterruptible power supply) is a device provides protections from power surges, spikes, brownouts, interference and other unexpected problems. It allows your computers, monitors, TV, servers those critical equipments working under a high secure electrical environment, and when the mains power fails, it can ensures devices to keep running by using the power from batteries. Under some circumstance a standby generator is available to provide a longer backup time.
It depends on many factors; some main factors are listed as follows: 1.The capacity of loads 2.UPS working efficiency 3.Battery capacity and discharge curve. For our standard models, several minuets autonomy is available. If charging capability allows, you can use extra external battery packs to run for longer, the more and the bigger batteries you equipped with, the longer backup time will be.
UPS’s lifetime is decided by many factors: Load percentage, ambient temperature, etc. If an UPS always work at full load situation, it will have fewer lifetimes than the same UPS work at 70% load. Most our plug-in UPS are workable for at least five years. For large equipments, twenty years lifetime is very common.
