Micro grid system is usually applied to middle / low voltage power distribution network, intermingles with various forms of energy devices to provide cleaner, more efficient and more stable power for loads.

01.Grid-connected Micro-grid System Solutions


System configurations
The typical grid-connected micro-grid system mainly consists of wind power generation system, PV power generation system, energy storage system, micro-grid central control system (MGCC) and energy management system (EMS).

System characteristics
The system adopts three-layer control structure. The top layer is EMS, the intermediate layer is the micro-grid central control system and the bottom is underlying devices.
The system has two operation modes, grid-connected and off-grid modes. Smooth switching can be done between them.
The system can make predictions for PV, wind power and loads to realize the economic operation of micro-grid system.

System characteristics
The system adopts three-layer control structure. The top layer is EMS, the intermediate layer is the micro-grid central control system and the bottom is underlying devices.
The system operates in off-grid mode. Energy storage system or diesel generator provides voltage and frequency support for the whole micro-grid system.
The system can make predictions for PV, wind power and loads to realize the economic operation of micro-grid system.

03.Off-grid Micro-grid System Solutions (capacity < 100kw)


System configurations
The typical off-grid micro-grid system (capacity < 100kw) mainly consists of diesel generators, wind power generation system, PV power generation system, DC energy storage system, AC energy storage system, micro-grid central control system (MGCC) and energy management system (EMS).

System characteristics
The system operates in off-grid mode, and is composed of two parts of DC power supply and AC inverter.
The output of new energy power generation unit is connected to DC bus; AC inverter unit provides a stable power supply for loads.
The system can make predictions for PV, wind power and loads to realize the economic operation of micro-grid system.

04.Energy Storage System Solutions



System configurations
The typical energy storage system mainly consists of battery banks, BMS, bi-directional DC/DC converter, energy storage converter, central control system and energy management system (EMS).

System characteristics
EMS implements control of peak load shifting and power frequency modulation.
The overall design of the system is container type, which is easy to be replaced and removed.
Battery management adopts advanced BMS for accurate measurement of power and electricity for the energy storage system.
